Who says you can't merge two resolutions? Having a game plan as to how to continue exercising while traveling makes the temporary transition seamless.

Here are five items that are easy to pack and use while doing your healthy and fun movement. They are also made in the USA.

1. Exercise Bands

The beauty of resistance bands is that they fit in just about any bag and can, therefore, travel with you whatever your destination. The exercises that you can do with them are unlimited.

2. Jump Rope

When traveling, it's important to keep in mind your itinerary. However, even jumping rope in place for a few minutes counts as having done your movement for the day.

Note: Top Form Design proudly designs and builds this jump rope in the Pacific Northwest.  Each sale helps fund Peloton bikes for Parkinson's patients.

3. Yoga mat

Taking a moment to breathe and stretch while traveling can prove to be beneficial, especially if you are traveling for business purposes.  Pack a yoga mat and block to prepare your brain to make new connections.  The practice centers you and focuses you.  As a result, your memory and thought processes are strengthened.

4. Suspension Training Set

TRX Training system travels well with you.  It was developed by a former Navy Seal and the workouts develop your core stability.  The photo above gives you an idea of how to set up the system.  TRX Training also has a great video on their website showing the different types of exercises that you can do with this system.

5. Ankle and Wrist Weights

Ankle weights add some weight to your travel bags, but the point here is to pack items that encourage you to move.  Harvard Health offers great tips on how to use them properly, and recommend to speak with your doctor prior to purchasing any wearable weights.

Conclusion

Finding the perfect exercise equipment for travel - that is also made in the USA - may pose a challenge, but with challenge comes change.

Always remember: Nobody loves you and your business more than the people behind the made in the USA name!
