In case of emergency, make sure to pack extra clothes.  This may be the only clothes you wear for some time.  If so, make sure that it is comfortable and weather-appropriate.

1. Boots

via Amazon

The proper footwear during and after a storm protects your feet in case of flooding or unsafe terrain.  Sloggers' rain boots are waterproof and have heavy duty lug tread for great traction.  They also have "all-day-comfort" insoles made to do exactly that - be comfortable all day in them.

2. Shirts

via Rawganique

Clothing to include in your emergency kit is a pair of long pants, long-sleeve shirts, short-sleeve shirts, undergarments, and a rain jacket.  Along with being sturdy and durable, ensure that the clothes is also weather-appropriate.

3. Hats

via Amazon

Part of an emergency preparedness kit should include rain gear, such as ponchos, umbrellas, hats and even waders, if you are in an area that tends to flood, or may flood.

4. Gloves

During and after a storm, gloves will keep your hands safe for both prepping and cleaning up.  This package comes with 24 gloves (12 for the left hand, and 12 for the right hand).

5. Waders

via Amazon

Waders are not something that you see on an emergency checklist.

If you are facing potential flooding, waders work well for this purpose.  Having a personal flotation device, a kayak or inflatable boat also become useful, almost life-saving devices.

Conclusion

Finding clothes made in the USA for emergency preparedness may pose a challenge, but with challenge comes change.

How will YOU be part of the change?

Always remember: Nobody appreciates you and your business more than the people behind the made in the USA name!
