When flat screen tvs were first released, the price was as high as $20,000!  By 2005, the price of a 42-inch flat screen tv came down to $4,500.  What the heck does that have to do with the environment?

The demand for eco-friendly and organic clothing will increase with the rise in awareness.  Therefore, this causes more affordable eco-friendly clothing and other products.

Eco-friendly clothes are made in small batches which makes them more personal.  The lack of mass market creates a piece of clothing almost specially made for you.  When there is a limited number of pieces made, the demand increases.

1. Rawganique

Leggings are such a versatile piece of clothing to have.  This pair by Rawganique are made from USDA-certified organic cotton.  With the intention of being able to go from work to yoga, these leggings are hypoallergenic, sweatshop-free, chemical-free and made with a comfortable covered waist elastic.

2. Made Trade

Hemp offers great benefits in its use for clothing.  It resists bacterial growth, and wicks away moisture.  The breathable material prevents odors.  Hemp also holds colors quite well.

Made Trade's Petra Hemp Pants are hypoallergenic and contain non-toxic dyes.  They feature a mid-rise pull-on style and flat front waistband, cut and sewn in Chicago, IL.

3.  LA Relaxed

Cargo pants are not normally associated with dress pants.  LA Relaxed designed these pants to marry the two concepts.  They are made with organic cotton, contain a wide leg, tailored front and elastic waist, side pockets and hip pockets.

4. Field Day

Field Day creates fashion with many silhouettes in mind.  The Yolked Juniper Jumpsuit allows for extra room in the torso and bottom areas.  Each jumpsuit is made from deadstock linen/rayon blend.  While each of these fabrics is not eco-friendly, they are sourced from other fashion houses that would otherwise have been disposed of.

5. Groceries Apparel

Curiosity piqued? Go to Groceries Apparel Unisex Sweatshorts

With summer coming up, these shorts will become a staple in any wardrobe.  Made with 100% Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton, these shorts contain no bleach and are dyed with non-toxic Vege-Dye™.

Conclusion

Finding eco-friendly pants made in the USA may pose a challenge, but with challenge comes change.

How will YOU be part of the change?

Always remember: Nobody appreciates you and your business more than the people behind the made in the USA name!
